Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago has announced he will vie for presidency in the 2032 General Election. The second-term county boss who doubles up as the North Rift Economic Block (NOREB) chair said he has what it takes to lead the country.
In a video shared by Nation Africa, Mandago stated he was preparing for the task ahead and has a strategic plan already in place.
The governor said he has a good development record in his Uasin Gishu backyard which he would use as a stepping stone for the top job.
Governor Mandago joins a crowded field of final term Governors interested in the coveted seat. others include Governors Oparanya, Joho, Kivuntha Kibwana, Alfred Mutua and Mwangi wa Iria.
